Have you stopped buying croutons cause of the bad oils and other ickies? Miss them terribly? No fear! You can easily make them at home without any weird ingredients. Plus, you can even make them gluten free!
Personally, I'm not a big fan of croutons. My brother however, just might die if he had to eat a salad without them. So when I started making them you can just imagine the joy on his face. ;)
Homemade croutons are super quick and easy to make! Don't want to waist that old bread on the counter? Croutons are the answer! Easy, quick, and so much better for you then the stuff you buy at the store. If you've been putting making croutons on the back burner I encourage you to make these today! It's much easier then you might think. ;)
Homemade Croutons
3 cups bread of choice, cubed
1 Tbsp. parsley
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tsp. sea salt
1/8 cup olive oil
Mix together all ingredients except olive oil. Drizzle olive oil over mixture.
Pour onto a cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
