Onto the muffins! Okay, yeah. These aren't much for show, but for your taste buds they are amazing! I mean, I couldn't stop eating them the other day. They have such a unique flavor which makes them irresistible!

I feel like I say this about everything I post, but I'm serious! These are easy and quick! Just mix everything together, bake and eat! That's not hard now is it?
I've never made "maple" flavored muffins before these. I've been making these for a long time now and they never grow old. I'm guessing cause there flavor is so different and delicious.
These are actually kind of fluffy for whole wheat. I'm not sure why, but it makes these twice as good! The fluffy texture with light, sweet maple flavor....mmmm...I want one of these so bad!
This makes about 2 dozen muffins. If that's to many for you, this recipe is easily halfed.

Maple Muffins
4 cups whole wheat flour
1 cup sucanat (or other organic sugar)
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1-1/2 cup milk
1 cup butter, melted
1 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt OR sour cream
2 eggs
4 tsp. vanilla
Mix together the dry ingredients then add the wet ingredients and mix well. Fill greased or paper lined muffin tins and bake at 400 degrees for 16-20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pan. Enjoy!
