You must think I'm crazy. What kind of nut would make homemade s'mores? I mean really, s'mores are meant to be bad for you! Well darlin', I turned that around. These actually are really, really good. They taste, in my opinion, so much better then the traditional s'mores you make with store bought junk. And, there's not junk! Almost sugar free as well, which would be totally amazing. The only thing that has sugar is the chocolate, but if you have sugar free chocolate chips then you can make these bad boys sugar free!

July is here! Do you know what that means? One word sums up July nicely: Ice Cream. Okay, if you want to be technical it's two words, but either way it's ice cream. And what screams summer more then ice cream? Fresh fruit ice cream! Now don't get me wrong, I adore the chocolate, peanut butter, yummy bits of awesomeness in my ice cream, but there is something I particularly love about this peach ice cream. It's just so fresh and light it has "Summer Treat" written all over it!
Or Independence Day for all my bad to the bone freedom lovin' folks like me out there. I hope you have a totally awesome, safe, fun day! It's going to be hot (at least where I live) so don't hesitate to push your buddy into the pond/creek/ pool/ water trough/ pile of water balloons, etc. Eat lots, enjoy your friends and family! I know I will!
Still need a last minute red, white, and blue goodie to top off your Independence Day menu? Well you are in luck! Cause I have just the thing for you. All these awesomely cute babies need is vanilla frosting, blueberries, and strawberries. And of course the sugar cookie base. Besides just looking totally patriotic they taste even better then they look! The fresh fruit on top really adds volume making these cookies a summertime treat!
