Yeah! You actually CAN make your own apple cider WITHOUT a hug, jymungo cider press or any other fancy equipment! All you need it apples, cheese cloth, and a blender. Got those? Then you can easily make your very own apple cider!
You can make as much as you need, or as little as you want. And it would make a super special addition to your spread at Thanksgiving!
Or for a extra special treat, add a splash of sparkling water! Oh yeah baby, now we're talkin'!
Anyways, this is so easy to make and when your guests find out you made it that will make it that much more special. And yummy.
DIY Apple Cider
apples-preferably the sweet kinds, use just one kind or a mix if you want to!
Chop apples into large bits and fill your blender half to 3/4 ways up with the apples. Add a splash of water and turn the blender on. Puree the apples until it's the consistency of applesauce.
Pour the puree into a jelly strainer bag or cheesecloth, or other super-fine strainer. This may take some time to get all the juice from the puree but you don't want to waste a drop!
Once you get all the cider from the puree, pour it into a jar and chill overnight or until nice and cold.
Pour into pretty glass cups and serve!
