It's been busy around here! Can you believe there are only 20 days until Christmas??? It's coming SO fast! Have you started your Christmas shopping yet? You better have! Need an idea for a yummy gift for that special someone? Why not a jar full of these?
These are real easy to make on short notice too! With only four ingredients that I'm sure you have on hand, this will save your life sooner or later!
Normally I'll pour the sauce stuff into paper cups, but I ran out. I'm astonished I ran out! Anyway, like I mentioned earlier, these would make a really nice Christmas gift for your sweet and salty loving friend. Or for that brother, or dad, or dare I say, boyfriend. ;)
Chocolate, coconut, and sunflower seeds! A really yummy combo! Perfect for that midnight snack too. ;)
Sweet and Salty Chocolate Cups
1 bag organic chocolate chips
2 Tbsp. organic shortening (or butter)
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup shredded coconut
Melt the first two ingredients in a saucepan. Add the sunflower seeds and coconut and mix until incorporated. Pour into paper muffins cups 1/4 full. Allow to set for several hours. If in a rush, pop them in the freezer!
