Everyone has their own special chocolate chip cookie recipe. Some don't, and just buy them from the store when they have a hankerin'. I've been making these cookies since I was tall enough to reach the counter. I've never made a different kind either, just these. These are my family's favorite! Just because these are homemade doesn't mean they are dry and crummy. You can erase that thought from your mind! Because these are soft, moist and chewy!

This has been my family's favorite meatloaf recipe since it was first made. Everyone loves it! When we make this for guests, everyone loves it! Something about that classic meat topped with molasses flavored glaze is just so pleasing to the tastebuds. For meatloaf, this is really simple and quick to throw together. No crazy, exotic ingredients, no special equipment, just a bowl, average ingredients, and you've got the BEST meatloaf ever.
It seems like years ago, but alas it wasn't even one year since I post a recipe for snowflake cupcakes. No I'm not giving you a link to them cause the post is rather embarrassing. Well it was my first post, cut me some slack! So this year I went and did it right. Lightly coconut flavored cake with extra fluffy whipped egg white frosting....this is a super yummy cake! This cake is a family tradition going back as far as 2009 when my mom was pregnant and I was making one of these every day. No joke. Every day. Pregnant mom's get what they want, no questions asked. Since then, I've made (ONE) every January, or if it never happens in January then in February. If not in February then in March. But no later then March and it can't be made to close to Easter either. Yes I know. This is all way to crazy. But that describes my family.
What do you do when you're in a rush and don't have time to make a quick bread? You make muffins. Well, what happens when you don't have time to make muffins but need that bred/fruit side? You make blueberry squares. These are basically like muffins except in a pan. Super quick and easy. Sweet. These are pretty versatile as well. Don't have blueberries? Use chopped apples, or pineapple, or whatever you have on hand! The recipe calls for nuts too, and sometimes I don't add them. It makes them slightly different so it doesn't feel like you're eating the same thing all the time. Add pecans, or walnuts, or whatever kind you want, as many as you want, depending on how your relationship with nuts are that day.
